High Security Fence Installation in Seattle, WA

When the Fence Is Your Last Line of Defense, It Has to Be Built Right.

Standard fencing marks a boundary. High security fencing controls one. At Inline Security Fence, we've built high security perimeter systems for petroleum industry operations, military installations, and King County public sites. We know what these applications demand — the right gauge, post depth, topping configuration, and gate spec for the threat profile — and we build to it, not to a catalog.

    What Our Clients Say

Real Feedback from Seattle–Tacoma Property Owners

    The Spec Is the Security

What Separates a High Security Fence from a Standard One

Two high security fences can look identical from the road and perform very differently when it matters. The gap is always in the specification decisions that aren’t visible once the fence is up.

    High Security
    Wire gauge and mesh aperture

determine cut and climb resistance. A 9-gauge, tight-mesh system and an 11.5-gauge, 2" diamond fence look similar — the time and tools required to breach them are not.

    Post depth and concrete specification

determine structural integrity under lateral force. Posts set to minimum depth will shift in Seattle's saturated winter soils. Posts sized and set to security specification don't.

    Topping configuration

determines whether a deterrent actually deters. Barbed wire on 45-degree outward arms functions very differently than three strands on vertical arms. The geometry matters.

    Gate hardware and automation

determine whether the gate is the weak point — which it usually is when it hasn't been built to match the fence line. Every access point needs to be spec'd to the same security standard as the perimeter.

We go through all of these decisions at every consultation, because a high security fence built to the wrong spec isn’t a security system. It’s a boundary marker.

    What We Build

High Security Solutions for Commercial and Industrial Sites

Ornamental iron isn’t a single product — it’s a category that covers everything from a simple front yard fence to a fully automated vehicle gate with security integration. We build across the full range.

    Heavy-Gauge Chain Link

9-gauge or heavier wire, tighter mesh, posts set deeper in concrete at closer spacing. The same material as standard chain link, built to a fundamentally different specification.

    DSC_1771
    358 Anti-Climb Mesh

3" x 0.5" apertures that are too small to grip and too rigid to cut with standard tools. Specified for facilities where climbing or cutting the fence is a genuine threat — utilities, data centers, government sites, high-value commercial operations.

    Security Toppings

Barbed wire for general commercial deterrence. Razor ribbon where a higher physical deterrent is required. Electric fence toppers for sites where breach-attempt notification is a security requirement. We'll specify the right option for your application.

    Automated Security Gates

Vehicle gates, pedestrian gates, slide gates, and bi-fold gates built to match the security specification of the fence line. Automated operators, loop detectors, card readers, intercoms, and keypads available. The gate structure is engineered for the operator load from day one — not adapted after the fact.

    Custom Fabricated Systems

Because we weld and fabricate in-house, we build what the site actually requires. Non-standard configurations, custom gate dimensions, integration with existing security infrastructure. The jobs most fence companies subcontract or decline, we build in our Kent shop.

    No Runaround. No Surprise Costs.

    On Site Consultation

    Step 1:

    Site Assessment

We visit the facility, walk the perimeter, and assess what the fence needs to accomplish — threat profile, access control requirements, regulatory considerations. This drives the specification.

    A Real Quote

    Step 2:

    Written Specification and Quote

You receive a written spec that defines every material and structural decision alongside a line-item cost breakdown. No vague scope, no surprises.

    Installation by Our Crew

    Step 3:

Fabrication and Installation by Our Crew

Custom components built in our Kent shop, installed by the same team that assessed the site. No handoffs, no subcontractors.

    FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

What makes high security fencing different from standard commercial chain link?

Specification, not just height. Heavier gauge wire, tighter mesh apertures, deeper post setting in reinforced concrete, security-grade hardware, and toppings designed to deter and delay breach — all built around a specific threat profile rather than a generic perimeter boundary.

What is 358 anti-climb mesh and when should I use it?

358 mesh uses 3" x 0.5" apertures — too small to grip, too rigid to cut with standard tools. It's specified when climbing or cutting the fence is a genuine threat. Utilities, data centers, government facilities, and high-value commercial operations are the most common applications.

What security topping is right for my site?

Barbed wire for general commercial deterrence. Razor ribbon where a stronger physical barrier is needed. Electric fence toppers where breach-attempt notification is a requirement. We specify what fits the application — not the most expensive option, the right one.

Do high security installations require permits?

Typically yes — especially for commercial installations, fences over 6 feet, and anything with electrical components. Requirements vary across Kent, Renton, Bellevue, and Seattle. We know the local regulatory environment and will identify what's required before we start.

Can you integrate with an existing access control or surveillance system?

Yes. We've built installations that integrate with existing keypads, card readers, intercoms, CCTV, and alarm systems. Give us the make and model at consultation and we'll design the installation around your existing infrastructure.

Can high security fencing be retrofitted to an existing perimeter?

Often yes. Upgrading topping, adding tighter mesh at vulnerable points, or improving gate hardware can meaningfully increase security without a full replacement. We'll assess the existing installation and give you an honest read on whether retrofit or replacement is the better path.

High security perimeter projects start with a site visit, not a quote form. We come to your facility, walk the perimeter, and give you a written specification and cost breakdown before you commit to anything.
